Valerie Cambours
Core Values:
What drives you every morning when you get up ? How much of your values are present in your daily life? Years ago, I was accompanied by a coach who guided me to reflect on my core values: this was one of the most profound and transforming moment of my life when I realized - as a humanitarian - the importance of serving myself first before serving others. As much as I continue to show up every day for others, I rely on values of authenticity, sense of purpose and shared vision along with deep faith that each encounter will reveal its best.
Transformation Focus
Becoming fully aware of who you are and how you connect this to your objective is key to your transformation. Most specifically, this is not by intellectually wanting to be something/someone else that you will change. Transformation starts with the awareness of your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations in reaction to situations and behaviors in your environment. Recognizing what happens within yourself - and deciding how you will use it - is the first step toward transformation.
Coaching style
« Getting coached by Valérie is like getting into a space of safety, confidentiality and total openness. For the first time in my life, I could be completely myself without judgement, without expectation and this helped me to authentically reconnect with my own needs and true aspirations. I was listened to and recognized to the core of my being. Valérie has a flair for pulling words that stick in the back of your mind and for bringing them into a different light »
Methodologies
My approach is global and systemic. We will work with our bodies, minds and emotions to connect inner happenings with external goals. Being an unconditional fan of nature and outdoors sports, I anchor my practice on simple tools to bring life and movement during coaching sessions. Experimentation is at the heart of your learnings and progression.
Ideal Clients
They come from all walks of life as coaching is about inclusion and diversity. Some want to improve relationships at work or their life in general. Others focus on a career transition or new management responsibilities. Coaching helps all generations and cultures from generations XYZ, to millennials and baby-boomers with an intent to positively transform «something » in their life. From Americas to Asia, from Africa to Scandinavia, their motivation is related to new perspectives with a genuine intent to grow, take action and gain confidence.
Success Metrics
For some, success is the ability to balance their professional and personal life. For others, success materializes through career advancement, enhanced responsibilities, or recognized leadership. Beyond quantitative success, coaching brings tangible qualitative progress such as boundaries setting, assertive communication, empowerment and well-being. Today with a focus on environmental and social issues, coaching metrics are supporting a wider purpose that spreads from the individual to the team and to communities.

Unique offering:
When I lost my mother in unexpected circonstances twenty years ago, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. This event completely changed my life emotionally and spiritually. From that point onward, I learnt to transform my vulnerabilities into strengths, to offer authenticity as a place of safety and to welcome the unknown with a kind smile. Enabling others to reconnect with their own truth and blossom at their own pace moves me profoundly.
Session outcome:
No matter where you are or what your are facing at the moment, remember this:
« You don’t have to have it all together to take the next step. Life isn’t about being perfect or fearless, it’s about showing up even when you are unsure. Your smallest act can shift everything and brings trust that you are growing in ways that you can’t even see. Listen to your instinct, follow your heart and own gracefully your commitment to that small step»
